I’m an Assistant Professor of Law at McGill University and an Affiliated Fellow at the Yale Law School Information Society Project. I’m interested in privacy law, technology law, and law & economics.

I study how law regulates people’s personal information. My current projects explore how to determine privacy harms in torts and how to regulate personal information in algorithmic decision-making.

You can find my McGill bio here and my SSRN page here. I sometimes tweet from @IgnacioCofone.
